Communication and advocacy is key in the implementation of the SDGs to ensure that

Kenyans are informed on what the SDGs are all about and are aware of their role in the implementation of the SDGs. Integrating SDGs in County development plans, policies, and strategies provides an opportunity for the common man to be sensitized then consulted on the different steps that can be taken to influence drafting of these policies, strategies and plans.

Monitoring Indicators/ Outcomes:

i.          Through its County Forums, Act- SDG Kenya will build strong and inclusive CSO coalitions at the county level to foster community development.

ii.        National Advocacy groups working on shared issues with County Governments

iii.      Adoption of national plans, policies, and strategies on critical SDGs targets through public participation

iv.      Members of Act- SDG Kenya mobilized to develop shared messaging and common advocacy goals
