(GPO) - Kenya promotes self- regulations of NGOs/CSOs in the Kenya and East Africa region:

As part of the coalition wider plan we plan to:

i) Carry out National and community sensitization & advocacy of SDGs

Achieving the SDGs requires the partnership of governments, private sectors, civil society, and citizens alike to make sure that all the global goals are consolidated.

Doing this must start with capacity building and enabling knowledge because people can do nothing about something they understand.

The Action on SDGs Kenya National Coalition plans to launch grassroots sensitization campaigns in order to inculcate the attitude of personal responsibility in citizens towards the environment and the larger scope of SDGs.

The involvement of the media will go a long way in creating awareness.
